Design & Sales Consultant

Our client is looking for a Design and Sales Consultant for their SF multiple bay area locations: Burlingame, Palo Alto, San Jose

Pay: $21-25/hr per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure high customer satisfaction to meet/exceed sales and profit goals
• Provide expert design and product selection assistance for customers in-store and at their locations
• Conduct in-home and showroom consultations for kitchens and bathrooms
• Identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and address challenges to close sales
• Build and maintain long-term relationships, driving referrals and repeat business
• Stay informed on product lines, trends, pricing, and availability using technology
• Use sales reports and forecasting tools to achieve sales targets
• Manage orders, bids, purchases, and showroom returns, ensuring smooth project completion
• Attend industry events to stay current on trends and build professional connections

About You:

• ‍2+ years of experience in interior design and sales.
• Knowledge of products sold in the showroom preferred
• Experience working with luxury, high end products and customers.

Our ideal candidate will also:

• Have experience with architectural blueprints and have a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word)
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and verbal/telephone communications skills.
• Demonstrate a deep product knowledge related to kitchen/bath trends to be able to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell.
• Be able to build influential relationships and trust with key vendor partners.
