Pre-Suit Paralegal

Our client, a growing plaintiff’s personal injury law firm, is seeking to add a Pre-Suit Paralegal to their team! They are looking for a dependable individual with strong communication and organizational skills. Two years of experience in a plaintiff's personal injury firm is preferred.

Salary and Benefits: Salary range $55,000-58,000. Competitive benefits, including 401K with employer match, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance and PTO.

Fully remote role (Candidates must be located in one of the following areas: Long Island, NYC, Upstate NY)

Job Duties:‍

• Client communication
• Draft legal documents
• Establish all necessary insurance claims
• Establish and manage no-fault claims on behalf of clients
• Review and organize medical records and other case-related documents
• Organize, manage and maintain an accurate case file in firm’s case-management system
• Support for attorneys

Qualifications:‍

• 4-year College Degree
• Must be Bilingual - English and Spanish.
• One to two years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury firm is preferred.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and staff. Positive and hardworking attitude.
• Organization: Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Accountability: Must be dependable and punctual.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Notary is preferred.
• Experience with Filevine is a plus.
• Positive, can do attitude.
