Digital Engagement Manager

A non-profit organization is seeking a skilled and creative Digital Engagement Manager. In this role, you will develop and implement digital engagement strategies, manage and optimize digital channels, and oversee creative direction and content creation as well as managing budgets and tracking performance metrics.

This role is based in Culver City, CA, 3x weekly on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience managing digital communications, including social media, websites (SEO, domain management), and content creation.
  • Expertise with creative design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud) and multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, CRM tools (Salesforce), and web platforms (WordPress, Drupal).
  • Develop and execute digital strategies for programs and initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and international partners.
  • Manage and optimize websites, social media channels, and content, ensuring seamless integration from all contributors.
  • Create and oversee engaging content, including articles, social posts, videos, and newsletters, while supervising a team of writers.
  • Establish and track digital performance metrics and maintain CRM systems, including staff training.
  • Maintain brand  consistency across all digital and print materials, developing and enforcing style guidelines.
  • Produce high-quality graphics, interactive content, and videos for marketing, events, and advertising.
  • Support event design needs, including collateral, signage, and digital assets.
  • Manage the digital engagement budget, review contracts, and provide financial reporting
  • Assist with audio/visual setup for events and digital recording needs.
  • This role blends  strategic vision, hands-on digital expertise, and creative leadership to drive impactful engagement and communication.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record managing digital communications, including social media, website management (SEO, domain management), and content creation.
  • Expertise in creative design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro) and multimedia production.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, CRM tools (Salesforce), and web platforms such as WordPress and Drupa
  • BS or BA in Communications, Marketing or related field and degree or experience in science desired
