General Manager - Upscale Restaurant Group
Our client, an upscale restaurant group, is seeking a strong, team-oriented General Manager to join their team in West Hollywood! The successful candidate will oversee the restaurant’s operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency. As the leader of the restaurant, the General Manager will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing profitability, maintaining a luxurious and welcoming ambiance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable time for all guests.
- Ensure the restaurant meets the highest standards of cleanliness, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain vendor relationships for all restaurant necessities.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate all FOH and BOH teams.
- Hire, train, and schedule employees to meet the restaurant’s operational needs and high standards of quality and performance.
- Foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional service.
- Implement guest service standards and ensure staff is delivering outstanding hospitality.
- Develop and monitor budgets and ensure financial performance meets or exceeds targets.
- Control costs including labor, food, and overhead, while implementing strategies to maximize revenue.
- Track sales, expenses, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet or exceed financial goals.
- Review and analyze financial reports, making adjustments when necessary to improve profitability.
- Ensure the restaurant adheres to all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing a restaurant of similar volume ($8M - $10M in annual revenue).
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control is required.
- Strong business management skills and ability to lead a team to success.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
