Production Coordinator

Our client, a wholesale apparel manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Coordinator to join their team in NYC! This individual will support the production manager in overseeing open orders, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with overseas vendors to monitor development and production progress, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
-Provide regular production updates to the sales department, ensuring customers receive timely communication about status and delivery.
-Manage and maintain WIP records in the system, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
-Oversee delivery updates and ensure timely entry into company systems.
-Track photography and prototype samples to ensure they are managed effectively and delivered on schedule.
-Assist in quality control checks to verify all garments meet company standards for quality and finishing.
-Write and process purchase orders as needed to support the production workflow.
-Prepare and organize information for weekly status meetings, ensuring all updates are documented and ready for review.

Qualifications:

-A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
-Adaptable and flexible to handle evolving priorities and tasks.
-Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
-2–4 years of experience in production coordination or a related field.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
