Maintenance Technician/Handyman

Our client, an ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family, is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support the upkeep of multiple private residences in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both general maintenance and landscaping, take pride in their work, and uphold the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple properties.
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., changing HVAC filters).
• Conduct patching, painting, and touch-up work as needed.
• Maintain landscaping and outdoor areas, including mowing, weeding, mulching, and general yard cleanup.
• Wash and maintain family vehicles.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance and special landscaping projects.
• Run errands and assist with household needs as directed by the Estate Manager.
• Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and secure.
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality and Covid safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in property maintenance, facilities, or a similar hands-on role.
• Strong understanding of working in a private home environment with discretion and professionalism.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced household.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license; a reliable personal vehicle is required.
• Ability to rotate between maintenance and landscaping duties throughout the day.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or extended hours as needed.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and detail-oriented.
