Our client, a luxury womenswear brand, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented designer to join their team in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a strong understanding of contemporary and luxury fashion to contribute to the brand’s elevated aesthetic and design vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and trend-conscious design concepts in alignment with the brand’s identity.
• Sketch and design collections alongside the design team, ensuring all calendar deadlines are met.
• Collaborate closely with print designers on placement and execution to maintain design integrity.
• Create detailed and accurate tech packs to support production.
• Attend fittings, providing design input and adjustments to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with overseas factories to oversee development and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design is required.
• 4-7+ years of experience in fashion design within the contemporary or luxury market.
• Strong hand sketching abilities and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate.
• Highly organized with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
