Sweater Designer

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Sweater Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is a fashion enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of garment construction and design techniques. As a Sweater Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our collections, ensuring they are aesthetically appealing, marketable, and aligned with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts, sketches, CADs, and prototypes for new collections
• Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to create relevant designs
• Research and select suitable fabrics and trims for each collection, balancing aesthetics and functionality
• Work closely with technical designers to oversee prototype development and garment fittings
• Partner with production teams to monitor manufacturing processes and ensure timely delivery of finished products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
• 5–6 years of experience in sweater or knitwear design
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, design techniques, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality pieces
