Human Resources Business Partner
Our client, a leading global financial firm is hiring for a professional, sharp and eager Human Resources Business Partner to report into their Head of People.
Compensation: $110-150k base range + discretionary bonus + onsite gym, excellent benefits package, 401k with match, fully paid breakfast/lunch, PTO
Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm, flexible if needed
Location: Onsite 5 days/week in Midtown East, NYC
Responsibilities:
- Support delivering annual HR processes, including, Talent Planning, goal setting, mid-year, year-end talent and compensation, in addition to supporting / addressing employee inquiries and matters
- Deliver HR operational support to Sales and Trading and Corporate Functions, including facilitating transfers and departures, in consultation with the Head of People, Employee Relations and People Operations
- Collaborate with other HR specialists in Employee Relations, People Operations, Recruitment, Learning and Development, and Compensation to deliver HR solutions and to elevate employees overall experience at the firm throughout their employee lifecycle
- Ensure the consistent application of HR policies, processes, and systems within the business.
- Provide data analysis and reporting as needed, including but not limited to, headcount management, performance management, and overseeing accuracy of team data, and proactively use data to highlight trends in the business.
- Partner across locations with Regional HRBPs to provide seamless global coverage
- Project manage or support ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree – Business, Human Resources, Organization Psychology, or related fields preferred
- 3-4+ years of work experience in Human Resources
- Experience within financial services is preferred
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Anaplan, and Tableau preferred
- Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm in a broad range of Human Capital topics
- Detail orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly driven by a sense of intellectual curiosity and an innate desire to learn
- Effective written and verbal communication skills – ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, strong sense of urgency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Assumes ownership of projects and proactively follows through from execution to completion
