Production Coordinator

Our client, a wholesale home goods, beauty and accessory company, is seeking a Production Coordinator to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with overseas vendors to monitor development and production progress, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Provide regular production updates to the sales department, ensuring customers receive timely communication about status and delivery.
• Manage and maintain WIP records in the system, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Oversee delivery updates and ensure timely entry into company systems.
• Track photography and prototype samples to ensure they are managed effectively and delivered on schedule.
• Assist in quality control checks to verify all garments meet company standards for quality and finishing.
• Write and process purchase orders as needed to support the production workflow.
• Prepare and organize information for weekly status meetings, ensuring all updates are documented and ready for review.

Qualifications:

• A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Adaptable and flexible to handle evolving priorities and tasks.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• 3–5 years of experience in production coordination or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

$70,000-$90,000 commensurate of experience
