Development Associate

We are seeking a talented Real Estate Development Associate to join a growing investment and development team dedicated to creating projects that deliver strong financial performance and lasting community impact. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced leadership on large-scale, complex developments while gaining hands-on exposure to every stage of the real estate lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage new acquisitions and development opportunities across asset classes including multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, education, and healthcare.
  • Conduct market and demographic research, financial modeling, and underwriting to support investment decisions.
  • Assist with due diligence, entitlements, and project approvals.
  • Support and coordinate design, construction, and project management teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Contribute to structuring joint ventures, community partnerships, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, investment materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in real estate investing, development, or project management.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with entitlements, CEQA/NEPA processes, or development/project management tools (CoStar, ArcGIS, Procore, Bluebeam) is highly valued.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset and a passion for advancing projects that support both community and economic
