Internal Auditor

Our client, a global entertainment company, is looking to hire an Internal Auditor on a freelance basis, ASAP!

Responsibilities
- Support audit planning, including walkthroughs, risk assessments, and documenting meetings.
-  Perform audit fieldwork under the direction of managers, including reporting and wrap-up.
- Prepare workpapers, draft findings, and present results to management and process owners.
- Conduct data analysis, detailed audit testing, and document issues with recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to special projects and operational audits with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate as a team player on various audit assignments and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements
- 2–3+ years of experience at a Big Four firm, large public company internal audit department, or consulting firm (media & entertainment experience preferred).
- BS or MS in Accounting required; CPA or CIA preferred.
- Strong experience analyzing large and unstructured data sets, with ability to draw insights.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Solid understanding of auditing fundamentals, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Strong communication, adaptability, and project ownership skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and analytics tools (ACL, Tableau, etc.); Python/coding a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
