Fashion Production Manager
Our client, an urban streetwear brand based in LA, is looking for a TEMP-TO-HIRE production manager that is fluent in Spanish to join their Vernon, CA team!
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily production activities to ensure on-time delivery and efficient workflows across all production stages.
• Oversee 50–200+ active SKUs at varying stages of production, with heightened volume during Q4.
• Coordinate and manage internal sample development and apparel production teams, ensuring alignment between printing, receiving, and finishing departments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production systems, including WIPs, tracking sheets, production calendars, and cost files.
• Monitor production metrics and proactively implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage domestic production focused on embellishment processes on blanks (custom or locally sourced).
• Monitor style costing and margins; identify opportunities for cost reduction or sourcing improvements.
• Utilize ERP systems (Sync), Excel, Google Sheets, and PLM tools to manage production data.
• Partner closely with Marketing and Content teams to ensure new and replenished styles are production-ready for eCommerce launches, including photography, tagging, and inventory publishing.
• Direct and manage production assistants and administrative support staff.
Requirements:
• 5–7+ years of experience in apparel production or manufacturing, preferably within streetwear or fast-fashion environments.
• Fluent in Spanish (required) — the in-house production team is primarily Spanish-speaking.
