Executive Assistant
Our client in the mission driven, innovation focused space is seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant to provide strategic, operational, and relationship centered support to a senior executive. This role requires exceptional judgment, a warm and professional presence, and the ability to navigate complex priorities with discretion. The ideal candidate has a strong background supporting top tier leaders and thrives in a multifaceted role that blends administrative excellence, relationship management, and strategic coordination.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a complex and dynamic executive calendar, including external engagements, internal meetings, and high visibility commitments.
• Filter and prioritize incoming requests with sound judgment, communicating decisions with diplomacy and care.
• Represent the executive professionally and warmly across email, phone, and virtual interactions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners through high EQ communication.
• Join select calls—including those involving government or policy topics—to capture notes, identify follow ups, and ensure internal alignment.
• Provide clear communication and high quality summaries to keep stakeholders informed and coordinated.
• Support planning and logistics for external events such as leadership gatherings, dinners, and partner convenings, particularly on the West Coast.
• Handle sensitive scheduling decisions in a manner that maintains and strengthens important relationships.
• Navigate a varied mix of administrative, operational, and strategic responsibilities with flexibility and enthusiasm.
• Travel occasionally for meetings or events as needed.
Qualifications
• Extensive experience supporting senior executives such as CEOs, founders, or managing partners.
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, and maturity when managing sensitive information and competing priorities.
• Strong relationship building skills with high emotional intelligence and the ability to maintain trust across senior networks.
• Proven ability to triage and filter requests diplomatically while protecting executive time.
• Polished written and verbal communication skills with an executive presence.
• Comfortable participating in government or policy related discussions and synthesizing key takeaways.
• Interest in mission aligned work and comfort engaging with public sector or policy adjacent topics.
• Enthusiasm for assisting with external event planning and partner convenings.
• Thrives in a dynamic, varied role that blends strategic partnership with operational excellence.
