Executive/Personal Assistant to CEO
We are seeking a high-caliber, career-focused Executive/Personal Assistant to serve as the primary strategic partner and "right hand" to the Founder & CEO of a rapidly scaling, female-founded AI technology startup.
We are looking for a seasoned professional who views the EA craft as their long-term vocation and thrives in the "eye of the storm" within a fast-paced, 100-person tech firm. You will be deeply embedded in both the professional and personal architecture of the CEO’s life, ensuring seamless operations as the company continues to disrupt the software space.
Location: SoHo, New York City (In-Office)
Hours: While standard hours are roughly 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, this role requires a "whatever it takes" mindset. You are available as needed for events, travel shifts, and urgent priorities.
Competitive Salary: $120k–$150k range; flexible up to $185k for those with direct Founder/CEO support experience at a similar tech scale.
• Significant equity package in a high-growth firm.
• Unlimited PTO policy.
• 401k and comprehensive health benefits.
The Profile
The ideal candidate is a proactive "force multiplier" who possesses:
• Startup DNA: You have 5–8 years of EA/PA experience in boutique, high-growth tech environments. You understand the pivots, funding cycles, and intensity of a scaling venture.
• High Standards & Directness: You thrive in a culture of radical transparency and high-velocity execution. Our CEO is data-driven, brilliant, and moves fast; you must be two steps ahead at all times.
• Academic Excellence: A Bachelor’s degree is required (Master’s preferred).
Key Responsibilities
• Complex Logistics: Manage a high-volume Google Suite calendar that blends heavy business schedules with personal commitments, including university lectures, speaking engagements, and board duties.
• Strategic Gatekeeping: Act as the primary filter for the CEO, managing internal and external communications with grace and precision.
• Travel & Expenses: End-to-end coordination of intricate travel itineraries and meticulous expense management.
• Personal & Ops Support: Handle a fluctuating mix of professional operations and personal assistant tasks (ranging from 10% to 40% of the role depending on the week).
• Office Management: Assist with SoHo office operations and general "glue" tasks that keep a growing startup functional.
Requirements & Skills
• Tech Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Google Workspace and standard modern office tools.
• Anticipation: The ability to sense needs before they are articulated. You don't just solve problems; you prevent them.
• Culture Fit: You are "scrappy" but polished, capable of "vibing" with a young, energetic team while maintaining absolute professionalism.
• Background: Please note we are specifically seeking candidates from tech startups.
