Account Manager
Account Manager – San Francisco Region
Location: San Francisco (Mostly Remote) | Must live in Bay Area for onsite client visits
We are partnering with a global leader in retail packaging, labeling, and brand experience solutions to identify a high-performing Account Manager to support and expand key accounts across the San Francisco region.

About the Role
As Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying opportunities to expand business. You will collaborate across global teams, translate client needs into actionable plans, and maintain a high level of accountability across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key accounts, acting as a strategic partner
• Identify growth opportunities through proactive product and solution recommendations
• Lead business reviews, performance recaps, and strategic planning sessions
• Partner with sales leadership on forecasting, revenue tracking, and account performance
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including product, sourcing, and production
• Translate customer needs into clear internal direction with defined timelines and expectations
• Ensure timely follow-up on all actions, maintaining strong organizational discipline
• Deliver clear, professional communication and anticipate challenges with solution-oriented thinking
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or related industries (packaging, trims, apparel supply chain preferred)
• Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience with executive stakeholders
• Self-starter mindset with a willingness to take ownership at all levels
• Comfortable working across global teams and time zones
Preferred Experience
• Sustainable packaging solutions and retailer compliance programs
• Materials knowledge including paperboard, corrugate, labels, flexible packaging, or branded accessories
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000
• Commission Target: 25%
