Director of Sales Operations

We’re partnering with an innovative connectivity and networking company at the forefront of Private 5G and industrial networking solutions. This is a high-impact opportunity for a resourceful sales operations leader who thrives in fast-moving, technical environments and knows how to drive revenue through strong process, trust, and education, not just transactions.


This role is ideal for someone who understands how to support and scale complex, consultative sales cycles, especially within telecom, 5G, or industrial infrastructure, and can help translate pilot programs into real commercial wins.

Pay: $85/hr
Location: Onsite – Chatsworth, CA
Type: Long-Term Contract (through end of year)

What You’ll Do

  • Build and optimize sales operations infrastructure (CRM, forecasting, pipeline visibility, reporting)
  • Partner with sales + engineering teams to convert pilots and trials into revenue-generating opportunities
  • Coordinate Field Application Engineers (FAEs) for technical evaluations and deployments
  • Track and manage pilot programs, timelines, and performance metrics
  • Support channel and partner operations across global markets (U.S., Asia, Canada)
  • Improve deal velocity, pipeline accuracy, and sales effectiveness
  • Develop scalable processes across proposal development, contracts, and partner coordination

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in sales operations, technical sales support, or commercial ops within telecom, networking, or related tech
  • Strong understanding of 5G / telecom ecosystems (Verizon, AT&T, Nokia, etc. backgrounds highly relevant)
  • Experience supporting complex, solution-based sales cycles
  • Proven ability to build structured processes in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Comfortable operating as a trusted partner to sales—someone who can influence through insight and education
  • Exposure to global markets and partner ecosystems is a strong plus
