Electronic Data Interchange Analyst
We’re partnering with a fast-paced, data-driven organization seeking an EDI Analyst to own the end-to-end performance, monitoring, and optimization of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, IT, and Customer Operations, ensuring seamless data flow, accurate invoicing, and strong system integrity across enterprise platforms.
This is a highly visible role ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, enjoys solving complex data issues, and has a strong foundation in SAP and financial systems.
HOURLY RATE: $$ 38.40- 42.40/hr
Hybrid - Denver, CO (Monday - Thursday in office)
DURATION: 1-year contract | Full-time hours
What You’ll Do
EDI Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Own end-to-end monitoring of EDI transactions and document flow
- Identify invoice discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Troubleshoot transmission failures and ensure timely, accurate data delivery
Partner Management & System Maintenance
- Serve as a key liaison between customers, Finance, and IT teams
- Maintain and optimize existing EDI connections while adapting to evolving partner requirements
- Lead testing and validation for new and updated integrations
- Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on EDI capabilities and standards
Process Improvement & Technical Solutions
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Lead process design, documentation, and system enhancements
- Build controls and reporting frameworks to improve data accuracy and visibility
- Develop KPIs and performance tracking metrics
- Identify opportunities to deploy automation (RPA) and improve operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in EDI, systems analysis, or financial systems environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP (R3 or S/4), including FI, A/R, Pricing, Cash Application, and Master Data Management
- Experience with SAP PO or similar middleware/EAI tools
- Proven ability to troubleshoot data/invoice issues and drive resolution
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL, Snowflake, or Power BI for reporting and analytics
- SAP certification or exposure to enterprise integrations
- Process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Background in CPG or beverage industry environments
